Exterior and Garden

Eilean Shona House is situated on a private island just off the West Coast of Scotland.

It has a modest façade concealing a wealth of entertaining and living space, decorated and furnished in style with comfort and ease as its priority. One of its features is the artwork, bought and commissioned by the owners, many of which were created on the island.

The house is surrounded by a large informal garden that falls towards the sea. The rhododendron and azaleas provide an explosion of colour in late spring, the splendid trees interest all year round. The house is girdled by a remarkable pinetum: 200 acres of Bhutanese pines, Redwoods, Scots pine and Yellowwoods.
