Eilean Shona House is now self catering. Kate McKinnon, the housekeeper, will assist you wherever possible with arranging for the delivery of your provisions to Dorlin Pier & many local suppliers are willing to deliver to the pier.

We suggest that to enjoy Eilean Shona to the fullest, you bring a cook. There is a bedroom adjacent to the staff flat that is available at no additional cost for your cook.

There is an excellent local chef who will deliver ready made meals to the pier & subject to availability may be able to come to the island for the occasional day.

Finally it is possible that one of our seasonal staff on the island may be able to help you with your needs. This can be discussed with the housekeeper.
